Ryan has spent nearly two decades designing, authoring, and operationalizing commercial risk frameworks for energy and commodity businesses — from global price risk management policies for integrated majors to board-approved framework modernizations for midstream traders.
His work spans the full stack of commercial risk: policy and governance design, delegations of authority, market conduct standards, risk measurement and limits architecture, and the CTRM systems (RightAngle, Endur, Allegro) where frameworks live or die. He has established and helped establish new trading organizations, assessed risk and pricing functions for CEO/CFO audiences, and led commercial technology programs for some of the largest energy companies in North America.
